Program Overview

Program Description:

Dept. of Microbiology houses one National Research Lab (NRL, Bacterial Virulence Study)and Genome Reseach Center for Enteropaothogenic Bacteria (GRCEB,Cellular Microbiology and Genome study), sum of annual funding from Korean government is over a half million dollars. Modern molecular and cellular biology tools are applied to investigate bacterial pathogenesis starting from genome analysis.

Open to international students. All grad students are exempted from tuition and receive a specified monthly stipend funded by NRL or GRCEB.
