Program Description:

The Graduate Department of Exercise Sciences is committed to the advancement of knowledge about physical activity and health. We offer a rigorous interdisciplinary curriculum at the master's or doctoral level. Research areas span the behavioural, biophysical and sociocultural perspectives encompassing physiology, gender studies, history, molecular biology, physiology, psychology and sociology. Students often adopt a multidisciplinary approach, an option that is facilitated by the depth of knowledge and variety of interests held by our faculty. We are committed to the development of well trained individuals who think creatively and who are able to conduct independent research at the forefront of their chosen field.
