Program Overview

Program Description:
Teach English to high school juniors and seniors through Upward Bound Summer Camp in Pohnpei. English language arts class each day, math and science tutoring in the evenings. Act as student advisers and coaches for other activities, including sports teams and weekend excursions around the island and in the lagoon. Housing and meals are provided with a host family during orientation; volunteers eat on campus and live in the dorms while camp is in session.
