Program Overview

Program Description:
Based at Chelsea on a land-mark central London site overlooking the River Thames and just opposite Tate Britain, the national gallery of British Art, this new program centers on one of the areas of excellence within the college – Graphic Design Communication. The program has been carefully designed to ensure a balance of theory and skills based learning, underpinned by valuable historical and cultural study. You will also benefit from experiencing the stimulating cultural resources of the capital. The BA (Hons.)Graphic Design Communication course offers a contemporary approach to graphic design for students interested in entering this fast moving, ever expanding industry. The course engenders a passion for high-level ideas generation, with innovative and directional concepts supported by the development of professional digital, technical and presentation skills. The Semester Study Abroad program is based at Chelsea College of Art & Design and promotes and delivers a wide range of media thus providing an excellent learning experience. Here at the college we have a diverse and multicultural student body and our Study Abroad students are no different. So in response to the requirements of our prospective Study Abroad students we have refined and expanded our offer in order that students can find a form of study that suits their requirements, or indeed, the requirements of their home institution. For students wishing to study for a 14 or 15 week semester we are offering an extra module to allow you to study for longer, and for additional credit. The European Art History plus module can be added to either the Semester or integrated semester Study Abroad options for an additional fee.
