Program Description:

Taplingo is a Spanish immersion summer study abroad program. In the heart of the mediterranean sea, students have the opportunity to learn Spanish while experiencing the culture of one of Europe's most beautiful islands.

Taplingo offers 6 levels of collegiate-level Spanish courses from 101-350. Students will spend the mornings taking part in our diverse and exciting Spanish lessons and will enjoy one of our organized cultural activities after every class. These include visits to art museums, excursions to some of Mallorca's best beaches and cultural sites. Students have the ability to fill their program with extracurricular activities from water sports, hiking, team sport training, conversation exchanges to cooking classes. Students are also able to add an internship in the tourism sector. The options we offer are administration, marketing, sales and customer service.

Students are eligible to earn between 4-10 transfer credits, depending on the length of time they choose to stay in the program. The program runs from 3-10 weeks.

Setting Description:

Mallorca is a jewel of the mediterranean and is one of the four Balearic Islands in Spain. Located off the East coast of the island, Mallorca has both stunning beaches and impressive mountain ranges. Taplingo's academy is located in the downtown of Palma, the largest city and capital of the island. 15 minutes walking from the beach, students will be in the middle of the historic old town and within walking distance of their residency halls and home stays, and everything else they will need during their time studying.

Cost:

The cost includes housing, materials and cost of the program. The cost depends on the type of residency the chooses and the number of weeks they wish to stay. Costs run from $2, 095-$2, 475 for 3 weeks to $6, 985-$8, 250 for 10 weeks.
