- An MBA is recognized in every country as higher form of management qualification. It is often a measure for the increase in salary and a promotion. One of the most common reasons Participants give for pursuing an MBA is a career change. The Swiss School of Management - European University of Rome MBA is a 12 months program and is based on a common curriculum and a major. The core curriculum consists of General Management courses.
Upon successful completion of the core curriculum each student progresses towards the specialization courses (Major). The program is designed to equip Participants with capabilities required for successful career of General Managerial level and beyond.

Further, the academic year features a longer stay at a castle in Tuscany, where in a special atmosphere you can take precious time to consider important questions about your future and your goals. Included in the tuition fees is also our yearly adventure. We use different outdoor excersices (high ropes, high ladder, etc.) to anchor success feelings after you have overcome your personal challanges.
The MBA program is divided into two main sessions; the core course curriculum and the specialization courses (majors). - Introduction Whichever MBA Major you choose, the emphasis is on your active participation and the sharing of ideas and experiences. Beyond this, learning and teaching methods are varied and tailored to the module or session; we include lectures, syndicate or small group work, case discussions, audio-visual material, visits and visiting speakers, computer-based activities, self-assessment exercises, manager presentations, outdoor exercises, reading and private study. Assessment Each course (module) is worth 4 Credit Points and is assessed by either an examination or an assignment, or by a combination of both. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is granted to participants who achieve 60 Credit Points; it is classified as Pass, Merit or Distinction, depending upon performance in the modules and project.
