Program Description:

Summer is the most flexible time in a student-athlete's schedule and our most popular program in Costa Rica! You'll share your adventure with student-athletes from across the US while earning credit and keeping up with your workouts!

We've partnered with one of Central America's top universities, Universidad Veritas, located in Costa Rica's capital, San Jose, and centrally located from the student's host families. Students have the choice between Spanish Language courses or a full catalog of elective courses taught in English including biology, business, politics, environmental science, and much more!

Students will also enjoy weekend excursions to Manuel Antonio National Park and Volcano Arenal, gain access to private training facilities and weight rooms, and organize service-learning clinics for Costa Rican youth.

Setting Description:

Costa Rica is one of the most biologically diverse regions in the world. It is also the safest country in all of Central America. Beyond Sports college programs are based in San Jose; the busy capitol city located only a few hours from two coasts and surrounded by several national parks.
