Program Description:

"Power English" is the Stewart College General English (ESL) program. It is suitable for students aged 15 and up is available on a part time or full time basis. We help students use English language skills effectively, in a conversation based setting. Our classes focus on fluency and are fun, interactive and effective.

Power Speaking runs Monday to Friday from 9am-3pm. Power English mornings uses a textbook and covers all language skills and pronunciation. Power Speaking afternoons focuses on discussion and fluency activities. Each level takes approximately 12 weeks to complete.

This program is for students who want to improve their general English skills. Power English focuses on fluency but also allows students to practice reading, writing, speaking, listening and pronunciation. This is an excellent program for students thinking about entering high school or university or working in an English environment.

Setting Description:

Stewart College is located in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Victoria has the mildest climate in Canada and is one of the top tourist destinations. Stewart College is located in down town Victoria next to 2 parks and the YMCA. Our school is bright and spacious with 2 lounges, a lunch room, computer lab, games room and kitchen.

Cost:

Power English is for 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 1-3 weeks: $325 per week 4-11 weeks: $295 per week 12-23 weeks: $260 per week 24 + weeks: $250 per week *Prices are for 2013
