The goal of all Spanish Studies Abroad Programs in Alicante is to guide you to live as a member of alicantino culture, while gaining a profound understanding of your surroundings. Courses designed for international student learning Spanish and access to abundant cultural resources, workshops, and activities allow you to more fully integrate into campus life at Universidad de Alicante.
Spanish Studies Abroad offers high school students the unique opportunity to engage in Spanish culture and language while obtaining college-level credit, living in a homestay, and discovering the beautiful Mediterranean city of Alicante. High school students (16 years of age and over) may enroll in the Spanish Studies summer program, which offers courses from the beginner to advanced Spanish level, or in a gap semester/academic year through our Spanish Studies Intermediate & Advanced Spanish Studies with Local Students at the intermediate and advanced Spanish language level.
Spanish Studies Abroad program fees include tuition, room & board, meals, support of the onsite Resident Director, predeparture support, laundry, overnight and local study visits, cultural activities, orientation, health insurance, computer access, and a Spanish Studies transcript. Optional trips and activities are also available through Universidad de Alicante's office for international students.
