Program Overview

Program Description:

Special-designed intensive Chinese language study is offered 22-25 hours a week at ALL levels. Other key program components include: One-on-one conversation practices with local students, home-stay, a wide range of cultural classes, e.g. Chinese martial arts, calligraphy, brush painting, kite making, etc., and well-crafted extensive travel in and out of the base city and to the major tourist spots in China.

Our programs are designed for students aged 8 to 18 to learn Chinese language in China, experience the rich culture and explore the country. No prior Chinese background is needed. High school students (15 and up) also have chances to participate in volunteer projects and gain community service credits.

By participating in SLG program, students will greatly improve their Chinese speaking and listening abilities, be in an advanced position in the areas of Chinese language mastery and cultural understanding. It also offers a great chance for personality development, friends-making and academic preparation. The experience will help enhance career opportunities for the future too.

Setting Description:

Our program is a joint partnership with several top universities or language schools in China, including Beijing Language & Culture University and Tsinghua University. Meal and room will be at the campus of the host university. Double-occupancy rooms are all equipped with private bath, a/c, phone and TV. Sufficient laundry and sports facilities, as well as Internet are all conveniently available.
