The B.A. in Human Development program is designed to give students an interdisciplinary understanding of human development from birth through end of life. Students will be taught the biological, sociological, emotional, and psychological factors that contribute to individual development. They will learn to make connections between these factors and the impacts that each factor can have on an individual's skills and progress as it relates to problem solving, language acquisition, personality, and identity formation, and social and emotional maturation. Pacific Oaks' hallmark commitment to social justice, advocacy, and respect for diversity and individual potential are integral parts of the B.A. Human Development program.
