Program Overview

Program Description:
As part of the course, students take half and full-day study visits to organizations and institutions working in health and policy. The visits and lectures include the World Health Organization (WHO), the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC), the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Global Fund), and the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The course also includes a boat ride excursion on Geneva’s famous lake and select group meals.

Costs include 4 credits, housing, and excursions. Housing is at local hotels and inns. A list of recommended places to stay is provided, and students are able to choose and arrange their own accommodations.
