Program Overview

Program Description:
Summer Discovery at Florence is a 3 or 4 week all-inclusive Academic and Cultural Immersion Program for High School Students. Spend 3 weeks in Florence and an optional week on-board the Norwegian Jade on a cruise through the Mediterranean Sea. The warmest people, the most delicious food, the most fashionable fashion, the most magnificent art - are all found in Italy. From the Roman ruins and Venetian canals to Florence’s treasures bathed in the Tuscan sun, Italy is a delight from dawn to dusk, and well into the night. Italy is both steeped in history and one of Europe’s most contemporary and hip countries. In Florence, you can sit in a trendy café in the Piazza Santa Croce, with the ancient Duomo as a backdrop. Academic and enrichment courses meet Monday-Friday, leaving plenty of time to explore all that Italy has to offer during our 3 day weekends. The program also features afternoon and evening activities within Florence and weekend road trips to Rome, Venice, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Viareggio Beach, and more. After 3 weeks in Florence, join us for an optional week onboard the Norwegian Cruise Line's Jade and explore the Mediterranean and Greek Isles.
