Program Overview

Program Description:

Participants at this volunteer opportunity will contribute to the restoration of a residential retreat center for veterans and first responders who need relief from Combat Trauma or Stress Fatigue (PTSD). The tasks you will have will depend on your skillsets & abilities, what may need to be done during your stay, as well as what other available volunteer skillsets may be available during your stay. Participants who contribute 24 hours per week towards this internal project will receive a full exemption from the program fee as well as receive free lodging. Therefore, these participants may also participate in other volunteer opportunities at no additional cost to the program or accommodation, upon meeting their 24-hr workweek.

Participants will experience:
- Learn & develop new skills.
- Learn to manage team relationships between people of a different cultures.
- Spanish immersion
- Participate is any of our 30+ additional volunteer opportunities with no additional program fees
- Work 24 hrs/wk, receive 7 nights lodging FREE
