Program Description:

Our Environmental programs revolve around educating future generations on conserving the environment, through educational camps and activities put in place to promote sustainability for the future. Duties of the volunteer include visitor management and outdoor environmental work. For example, clearing paths, removing alien vegetation, bird counting, and facilitating awareness programs for people of different ages.

There are also various outdoor building and upgrading projects that could be done.  Most of these projects are government funded or subsidized through donations, so are very well structured and well managed.. Some projects charge a minimal fee for entrance or for use of facilities.

Volunteers should have a love of the outdoors and a willingness to get their hands dirty, as they will at times be working in unpleasant weather conditions. For awareness camps and projects, volunteers must love working with children and be able to work in a team.

Setting Description:

Volunteers on this program are accommodated in Volunteer Houses or with one of our friendly local host families, where three home cooked meals are provided each day. Wifi is available and volunteers are responsible for their own laundry. Free time can be used to explore this amazing country!

Cost:

LV Registration Fee + Programs Fees from just $390 for two weeks! USD. Included: Accommodation, 2 Meals per day, Airport Pick-up, Orientation on Arrival and 24/7 In-Country Support. Not Included: Flights, Insurance, VISA, Vaccinations, In-Country Transport, and Spending Money.
