Strategic Management

Strategic management is a continuous process, in which the phases of strategic analyses, strategic planning, implementation of strategic plans, and strategic control constantly repeat and overlap. Aim of the course is for the participants to gain an overview of the issues of strategic management of organizations. Students will master tools and procedures that are used in strategic planning and management. Moreover, they will become familiar with methods of different strategic analyses using analytical techniques to define goals, implement the strategy and perform subsequent monitoring and control.

Strategic Management of Sales

Sales management, which focuses only on goal setting, does not perform its function well. A truly professional sales manager focuses on management of sales activities as well as development of necessary skills. In addition to this, the key factor for effective strategic management of sales activities is a determination of sales strategy and policy, and operational system for monitoring, measurement and evaluation of activities. It is facilitated by appropriately chosen standards and key parameters of measuring sales performance (KPI). 

Aim of the course is to familiarize participants with roles and functions of sales management in a company. Participants will receive information on how to build and implement sales plans, how to manage sales and how to achieve set sales targets. Students also learn about sales techniques, strategies and organizations. An integral part of this course is introduction to leading styles of sales teams, management, leading and motivation of sales teams, coaching, delegation, roles and tasks of a Sales Manager. Upon successful completion, students will be able to build sales plan of the company, including definition of key performance indicators and appropriate methods of control.
