Planning and Development of HR

Aim of the course is to make students familiar with the tasks of human resource planning and development. Students will study the process of human resource planning, goals and strategy of securing human resources. Motivation of employees as a current issue and one of the most important factors for securing qualified and satisfied specialists and staff is given special attention in the course. HR psychology in terms of recognizing employee personality types is also part of the curriculum. Participants will learn to identify the training needs of employees and use latest approaches in human resources development. Performance and change management as well as unpleasant yet inevitable workplace investigations round up the course curriculum.

Recruitment and Selection

Aim of the course Recruitment and selection is to learn the process of seeking and selecting new employees with regard to the plan of human resources, system of addressing new applicants, and employee selection methods. The course also includes an insight to proper planning of job interviews and interview routine. Students will also learn different types of job interviews and their proper use in practice, the use of assessment centers for selection of new employees, psychological testing and other methods of selecting new employees. Another issue involved is explanation of the importance of recruitment agencies in the selection process, their advantages and disadvantages. Upon successful completion, students will be able to establish basic procedures for finding, selecting and further development of employees. They will be able to choose the appropriate method for individual parts of the process from perspective of both employer and employees. Last but not least, students will learn how to apply ethic approaches in the whole process.
