Program Description:

The Bregenz, Austria Program offers courses in Business, Economics, English & German. Students will have classes four days a week. Several three-day weekends have been scheduled into the program to permit students sufficient time for independent travel.

The program in Bregenz will last five weeks. The courses offered by the Institute are designed to take optimal advantage of the cultural surroundings and events in Europe. On weekends participants will either take part in class-related excursions or be given the opportunity to travel independently.

While in Bregenz, the Institute sponsors numerous opportunities to visit important cultural sites and events, such as concerts, museums, castles, archaeological sites, medieval towns, and representative architectural monuments. Included in the program fee is a 10-day in 2-month Eurailpass.

Setting Description:

Bregenz is a medium-size city of approximately 30,000 inhabitants, which has a rich cultural heritage reaching back before the Romans. Bregenz, with its small shops, churches, old city, and its natural setting, quickly becomes a "home in Europe."
