Located on the coastline in a picturesque harbor, Galway and the surrounding county is known as one of the most beautiful regions of the country. With a student population of about a quarter of the city, Galway has a world-famous arts and entertainment scene. In this small and walkable city you will discover brightly colored cafes and pubs, live music abound and street performers filling the streets.
Students study at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Students generally take 4-6 courses per semester, for a total of 20-30 ECTS credits. Courses are taught in English and students take courses among local Irish and international students.

- As an ISA student you have access to all the resources of the National University of Ireland, Galway including the library, study lounges, computer labs, internet access and athletic facilities as well as campus events and academic advising. The ISA resident director is available at all times and conducts the on-site orientation, leads excursions, assists with housing and provides academic and cultural support.
