Program Description:

General Group Courses consist of 20 lessons per week (17 hours) Start dates every Monday. Classes normally take place from Monday to Friday. Maximum of 14 students per group. All levels. Discounts for extended stays!
The Language Academy's approach to teaching and learning English is essentially learner centered. Instructors focus on the student's needs, interests and professional goals. The learner is encouraged to participate actively in cultural activities and field trips and get acquainted with locals. General English Course Structure:
A dynamic course that includes the development of the four main language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing, with a strong focus on conversation. The content is wide-ranging and very practical. The curriculum puts a strong emphasis on effective communication for each student.
  • Minimum age: 18
  • The minimum enrollment period is 2 weeks
  • Each week features 20 lessons (each lesson is 50 minutes)
  • Classes are from 9:00 a.m. to 12:40 p.m., Monday through Friday or 13:30 pm to 17:10 pm
  • Each group class has a maximum of 14 students
  • Absolute beginners are required to attend private classes until they can reach the A1 Beginner level


    Typical School Activities Include:
  • Music Day: The origins of Jazz & Blues. What better way for students to test their listening comprehension skills?
  • BBQs at the Beach: Students pack lunches and go to the beach for volleyball and casual conversational exchange
  • The School provides FREE chips, sodas, water, bread, condiments, fruit, pop corn, ice, charcoal, desserts for all the participants
  • Field Trips: Visits to museums, the County jail, courthouse, City Hall, newspaper-editing facilities, etc
  • We consider these exciting activities as part of the course and they are included in the tuition fee.
  • International Banquets: A monthly event where students share recipes and dine on cuisine from around the world

  • Our classes are small and students are placed in levels corresponding to their placement test score
  • The maximum number of students in an Executive Course is 5 and there is a maximum of 14 students in a General English class.
