Program Description:

Our program is specifically designed to teach the English language skills students require to be successful in their undergraduate or graduate studies at a Canadian University.

ELI’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program is primarily for students who are preparing to enter English speaking postsecondary educational institutions and need to bring their English skills to university level fluency.

This program is also designed for those individuals who want to improve their use of English as a second language for professional or personal purposes.

ELI runs three Terms (Fall, Winter, Spring/Summer) of our EAP program each year;

All Terms are 13-weeks in duration.

With rolling admission, students are able to begin study during any of the aforementioned Terms.

All ELI Term start-dates coincide with Brandon University course start-dates for student convenience.

Classes in the first three levels focus on the four basic English language skills to enhance student success in a degree program or for personal and professional reasons. Students seeking a conversation-only course should not enrol in this program.

ELI’s rolling admission process allows you to get a jump start on your Canadian University education by applying now for our next Term. There is no need to wait to send in your application for our Fall, Winter or Spring Terms. Our rolling admission process means that you can apply at any time and we’ll simply place you in the next available Term. Applying sooner than later allows plenty of time for the Student Visa process and for you to prepare for this exciting new education experience.
