Program Description:

The art and science of therapeutic massage is a branch of complementary healthcare that works to improve a person’s health and well-being through your hands-on manipulation of muscles and other soft tissues of the body. Compassionate, self-motivated individuals are best suited for a career in therapeutic massage.

There is an ever-increasing acceptance of massage as a holistic approach to healthcare and health maintenance and, as a result, your opportunities as a massage therapist will be abundant.

Therapeutic Massage Program Highlights & Objectives

The Therapeutic Massage program is designed to prepare you for employment as a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) and/or to enter into private practice. Your professional career training will include Swedish massage, neuromuscular techniques, infant and prenatal Massage, sports massage, hydrotherapy, Asian, Reflexology, chair massage and site-specific treatment techniques. A clinical practicum experience is incorporated into training to provide you with skills needed to interact with clients.
