Program Description:

Teaching English, Conservation, Archeology work experience, The Inca and Machu Picchu Experience, Community work with special needs children in Peru, The Machu Picchu and camel conservation experience

We think another reason to visit the land of the Incas is to help Peru with her commitment to education and development. In less than fifty years, the literacy rate has climbed from 42% to nearly 90% - an amazing accomplishment for a country as physically and ethnically diverse as Peru.

The job now is to bring education where its needed in the rural areas, and to conserve the verdant Amazon Basin, which occupies half of Peru.

Setting Description:

Discover more than just the the lost city of Macchu Picchu. Peru gives the adventurous volunteer many other South American revelations. There's grand architecture, vibrant culture and delicious, fresh food in Lima.
