i-to-i volunteers are responding to the needs of Ecuadorians in various settings, from working with children in Quito, to tackling community health issues in rural areas, to teaching English and preserving jungles in some of the last remnants of rainforests in South America.
People are needed to volunteer in Ecuador to help improve the lives of countless people in the country through working with local children, teaching English in language schools and supporting local health services. Look for the Big Giving logo for the projects that we help with extra supplies.
- Setting Description:
- Ecuador is South America's Utopia, with some of the last patches of rainforests on Earth, almost a 100 snow-capped volcanoes and a bewildering array of plants and wildlife; some species still unknown to science. Ecuador also packs in more vibrant cultures, than many countries twice its size.
