Program Description:
Train and Perform in Greece. 2 week theatre training intensive 22 July - 6 August 2016. Led by experienced professional theatre directors. Suitable for students, teachers, actors and theatre practitioners. University accredited courses and theatre intensives have been offered every summer at Hydrama for the past fifteen years.

Unique opportunity to study, rehearse and learn about the ritualistic origins of theatre and perform in a Greek amphitheatre to an international audience. The training methods taught are invaluable for all forms of theatre.

Participants learn to use their voices and bodies in outdoor amphitheaters. A Certificate of Participation is awarded on successful completion of the course.
Setting Description:
Set in Greece where western theatre was born 2,500 years ago in a beautiful car-free island which echoes theatre's origins.
