Hindi Hour was the exact program we needed! Shachi and her team are experienced, patient and thoughtful practitioners that have a passion for teaching and language. The instruction was personalized to fit our needs, and we left class each day feeling
more and more empowered to test our learnings in the real world. If you're lucky, you'll also have a chance to check out some of Jaipur's cultural sites with the Chotia Family which only adds to the already wonderful experience. I highly recommend Hindi Hour to anyone looking to learn Hindi - you'll have great teachers, an enjoyable experience and will get to meet lots of other awesome folks also learning Hindi.

After living in India for many years finally I got frustrated of still not being able to speak hindi! I was lucky to find a full immersion hindi program in Jaipur :) After 3 weeks of being there I am able to communicate in hindi. I had a very good
experience during my home stay with Shachi ji and her family. My 2 favourite teachers - Shachi ji herself and her sister Aditi ji. Also Shachi ji's husband - Navin ji - is very sweet with the students. He was taking us out for sightseeing, trekking as well as very helpful in finding any specific things to buy in Jaipur (including help in making good deals as a local person with the seller - which for a foreign person in India may not be so easy :) I really wish to say lots of love and many many thanks to Shachi ji, Navin ji and Aditi ji! I also wanted to share that... Shachi ji is very impressive with her teaching skills. She has a lot of mental penetrative fire to understand the language grammar herself as well as to find really efficient tricks to enable the students to grasp it as well as memorise it. BTW Shachi ji also teaches French ( talent for languages runs in this family - her Father spoke 10 languages!!! :) Aditi ji is so disciplined and dedicated that she will not miss the class with you even if the "house is burning" :) When after some time - when we already became more familiar with each other and talked a little more openly about our private lives - I discovered how busy schedule she has every day - and still she is full of energy, with big smile and enthusiasm - and all that is contaminating :) You will feel empowered at Hindi Hour School - both the women will make you feel confident, you will get a lot of positive support and confirmation. You will be able to practice your hindi at the dinner time (by the way - food is delicious & healthy!) and if you go out with Navin ji. They all will be speaking slowly at your pace, very clearly pronouncing words. After being at the Hindi Hour - if you wish so - you can continue the classes once or twice a week on-line. And that eventually over months will make you so fluent that you could even talk about the history, science, politics etc. in hindi. Wishing to come back to Shachi ji! My wife and I did a month of immersive homestay, beginners Hindi course(40 hours), and intermediate Hindi course(50 hours) here. As an immersive homestay and language school we loved it and the two worked well together. Shachi and her family have their
doors and lives open for visitors to come in and feel at home in a cross-cultural setting. We ate a lot of great food, got to know their family and their culture, was included in their trips and touring around the local area, and learned Hindi from the best grammar teacher we have ever met. Shachi has a gift for teaching and we feel very confident in the Hindi that we learned from her to navigate life around India. We highly recommend this to anyone staying in Jaipur for an extended time!

I have stayed in Jaipur for three weeks in the spring of 2017 and took beginners course in Hindi with Shachi Chotia. Besides being a passionate teacher, Shachi is one of the loveliest people you will meet. She is compassionate, has great understanding
of different cultures, helpful and all around an amazing human being. Her classes are well structured, yet if need be flexible and adjustable to her student needs. Shachi has exceeding my expectations in every possible way, from lessons to food to accommodation. Her family was very welcoming, helpful and genuine, and spending 3 weeks with them was one of the highlights of my 6 months India stay. I look forward to returning to Hindi Hour next year and highly recommend it to everyone!

I am taking Hindi vacation at Hindihour.com for the second time. Not necessary to mention that I am very happy with the course. The owner Shachi Chotia is a very good teacher and a perfect host who is always helpful and relaxed. The accomodation is perfect
and better than most of the others I know - and I am very often in India. People who want to experience family life and learn Hindi find here the right place. I have had several Hinditeachers but Shachi knows the right way to teach Westerners. I also enjoy very much Hindilessons with her sister and other teachers who support her. Highly recommended if you want to learn Hindi in a relaxed way!

- Immersion in Hindi, Indian culture, food & life04/05/17
A thousand thanks for letting me stay with your lovely family. This was not just a language course, it was an immersion in Indian culture, food and life. Shachi, you are an excellent teacher and you clearly love your work. I found your explanations incredibly
clear and helpful and I'm grateful that you were happy to teach me through Roman script. The conversation classes complimented the morning lessons well. Please give the faculty my warmest thanks too. I've learnt an enormous amount in three short weeks, and I think I've never worked so hard!

You are a superb teacher and I am beyond pleased and amazed with how much I learned in three weeks time. The clarity that you bring while instructing enabled me to grasp concepts that I was unable to understand my entire time of living in India. Thank
you for your patience, encouragement and discipline you have shown in your teaching. The accommodation and your classrooms are very good.
