Program Overview

Program Description:

HHS au pair programs provide excellent chances for overseas young people who would like to explore China. Programs are available in 3-month, 6-month, and 1-year durations in major Chinese cities. The au pair program is a cultural and language exchange program which will allow students to have the unique experience of living with a Chinese family.

HHS au pair program What you get: - Full board and lodging with suitable host family - 8-12 hours of Chinese classes per week - At least 750 RMB monthly stipend - Airfare reimbursement up to 5000 RMB - International insurance - Visa invitation letter - Free membership in the HHS Au Pair club Job details (25 hours of work per week): - 3 month, 6 month, or 1 year long stays - Help host family with foreign language learning (usually English) - Childcare - Be responsible for some light housework duties - Bring western culture to the host family Requirements: - 18-29 years of age - In good health and physically fit - High school graduate - Speaks fluent English - Have no criminal record - Enjoy spending time with children

Setting Description:

One of Nine major cities in China: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Changsha, Wuhan, Qingdao, Kunming, Lanzhou. Participants will live with a Chinese host family.
