Program Description:

HEAD Law School instills a culture of excellence, teaches both commitment and pragmatism and engages its students in the business world via its established partnerships with corporations and law firms. The LLM in Law and Business is an elite program that combines business law courses, co-taught by leading professors from the Sorbonne Law School and legal practitioners, with related subjects such as economics, finance and humanities. A special emphasis is placed on global studies and professional savoir-faire. Lessons are taught in French and in English and require a good level in both languages. The courses run from September to the end of May and can be followed by a four to six month internship.

Courses last from September to May. They are taught in French and in English. The program has been developed with the support of leading university professors from the world-class Sorbonne University, partners in major law firms and general counsel of multinational corporations. Curriculum includes 440 hours of class time giving access to 60 credits (ECTS). Main topics are:

Students desirous of staying longer in Paris may register for an additional semester and make use of our placement office and support for finding an internship.

It is a Paris-based programme delivered in French and English. Each student has the opportunity to customize his or her desired subject matter specialization. At the same time, each student, through participatory workshops and team projects, is challenged to grow his or her practical lawyering skills to the next level. Our faculty pushes critical thinking, writing and oral presentation skills.

Cost:

Tuition is 15,000 euros per student, which includes all HEAD provided courses and conferences as well as any required reading materials. Students have free high-speed WI-FI internet access on-site. Computer access on site is also available free of charge.
