Setting Description:

The Semester in Shanghai: Chinese Language offers students a rigorous language program and an in-depth view of China. The academic curriculum combines Mandarin language instruction in intensive reading, listening, speaking and writing with optional courses in Shanghai dialect and proverbs. This program is suitable for students at all Mandarin language levels. Students will also visit Beijing, Xian, the Great Wall of China, and Hong Kong.
