- Volunteer Abroad in Nicaragua! We work with a variety of pre-K through primary schools in Granada, where volunteers can help with a wide-range of tasks including:
* Teaching English
* Leading Dance/Art/Sports Activities
* Tutoring and mentoring
Day care centers are a great help for working single parents in the low income communities of Nicaragua. They are also a rewarding and fun experience for volunteers who enjoy to share their time with children.

- Setting Description:
- Granada, the oldest European city in the Americas, is a charming colonial city on the shore of Lake Nicaragua. The city is undergoing massive restoration and revitalization as the Nicaraguan economy expands and the tourist industry starts to take off. ELI works with community organizations in and around Granada to create volunteer and Spanish language immersion programs for travelers looking to dive beneath the surface and gain insight into the daily lives of Nicaraguans.
