Stately architecture and a steady influx of European immigrants have earned it the nickname Paris of South America. With a population of 13 million, Buenos Aires offers a rich array of educational and cultural opportunities.
Experience Buenos Aires your way by customizing your study abroad experience through our Open Campus program with an English-language program designed for students at US universities. Take one, two, or three six-week blocks for your perfect amount of intensive study and cultural engagement, select your academic track from six options, then pick your courses from a wide range of subject areas.
Stay in Buenos Aires for the duration of this unique study abroad experience, or add on blocks in other CIEE Open Campus locations (Rio, Santiago, London, Rome, Berlin, Copenhagen, Paris, Madrid, or Cape Town) to experience more intercultural learning with CIEE’s unique Global Scholar program.
This program offers students a series of courses designed to help students explore the dynamics of this Latin American nation and its culture. Students may select one of six academic tracks: Language, Literature & Culture, Business, Communications, Journalism & New Media, Global & Community Health, International Relations & Political Science, or Sustainability and Environmental Sciences
Courses are mostly taught in English, by CIEE faculty; Spanish language classes are available at multiple different levels.
