- Program Description:
- The Bootcamp is a super-immersion Spanish program oriented to VERY motivated students. Its sole aim is to provide its participants with basic fluency in a very short period of time--8 weeks. The course is of very high intensity and combines 6 days of class and supervision with extensive in-city drills giving the student ample opportunity to interact with the city of Buenos Aires to develop the skills learned in the classroom.
The program runs between June 13 and August 6th and it is equivalent to 3 years of Spanish classroom lessons in a standard university setting.

Housing includes breakfast and dinner--6 days a week. Students are housed in family homes screened to expose students with the minimum amount of English possible. English speaking staff is available 24/7 to deal with any emergency. Admission to the bootcamp includes admittance to cultural activities of sister institutions.
This program is ideal for academics and very motivated students who need to learn the language effectively in a very short period of time. The bootcamp will provide its participants with a basic degree of fluency so as to permit field work, research, work with primary sources. However, people outside of academia could benefit greatly from the speed and practical approach to the use of language. The program was developed by academic philosophers working on language acquisition and with over a decade of experience in language skill acquisition and it is offered in the context of the Centro de Estudios Filosóficos y Fenoomenológicos Avanzados which holds yearly forums, lectures and workshops in areas related to professional academic philosophy such as ethics, philosophy of law and aesthetics.
