Program Description:

The Arcos Learning Abroad program in Heredia, Costa Rica offers sessions year-round. Stay for a semester, summer, or winter break. You will take classes at the state-of-the art Latin University of Costa Rica. Classes are offered for all Spanish levels with electives, internships and certificate programs available. This is an all-inclusive study abroad experience with cultural activities, excursions, on-site directors, carefully vetted homestays, tuition and international medical insurance and provided for. Heredia is known as the City of Flowers possessing a year-round spring-like climate and home to multiple universities. We invite you to step through the arch and into a world of possibilities!

Setting Description:
This program is located in the Central Valley in the historic city of Heredia. The fertile highlands where Heredia is situated are one of the most beautiful regions in Costa Rica. Here you will find traditional charm coupled with coffee plantations, verdant rainforests, and rushing waterfalls.
Cost:
2,995 - 8,495 USD. Tuition cost includes a full-course load and registration fees.

Requirements:
- We recommend a cumulative GPA of 2.5. Should your GPA be lower than 2.5 you may be asked to submit more information. Make sure to check with your study abroad office in case they have any GPA requirements. - Be in good academic and conduct standing with your home university. - Students must be 18 years of age by the program start date.
