Program Description:

Go Greek in Greece is a 3 week program for those who have pledged and participate in Greek Life (or come from a Greek background) and are interested in connecting with their roots while earning 3 credits and exploring the best that Greece has to offer. 

The program offers students the opportunity to connect with other Greek chapters or students from various institutions around the US while studying abroad and exploring Greek sites like Mount Olympus and the Greek Islands. Students will experience Greek hospitality, heritage, and culture with cooking classes, survival greek, and a dance lesson. In the student hub of Greece, Thessaloniki, students will explore ancient and modern Greece through organized trip and events while being immersed in the vibrant local culture. Discover the true meaning of Greek life and "filotimo" with service learning opportunities giving back to the community and gaining valuable experience along the way. 

Setting Description:

Students will be living in student apartments at the heart of Thessaloniki near the 6 mile board walk. The city has a 10% student population and is known for incredible sites and food making this a great place to settle for a semester.
