Program Description:

Albizu University’s (AU) Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education prepares students to teach in elementary schools (public, private, charter and parochial schools, among others). This program consists of 124 credits, including a 10-credit internship. It integrates the study and understanding of human behavior along with sensitivity towards culturally diverse populations in the field of education.

This Elementary Education Bachelor’s (B.A.) program is available as day, evening, and hybrid (on campus and online) classes to provide the flexibility and convenience students need to fulfill other responsibilities. All classes are taught by faculty experts with practical experience in their fields. Many potential AU students successfully take and pass the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams to earn credit toward their degree (contingent on a score of 50 or higher). Albizu University also awards credits toward this program for prior learning and practicum placement.
