    Founded in 1963, the IES Abroad Freiburg program offers students with previous German language experience the opportunity to integrate themselves fully into German university student life and improve their German language skills in the charming yet cosmopolitan city of Freiburg. The program offers a wide selection of IES Abroad classes taught in German by distinguished native faculty, as well as access to courses at the renowned Albert-Ludwigs-Universitat and additional partner universities. In addition, internship opportunities are available in the following fields: Government & Politics, Cultural Institutions, Education, and Non-Governmental Organizations.
