Program Description:

This is a unique opportunity for participants to spend 6 days working with Frantic Assembly to create an original performance. Working collaboratively as a professional company; participants will develop their performing and directing skills and use physicality to devise stories and to create meaning. By engaging and nurturing your imagination and creativity, all participants will contribute to the development process of the work and perform in the finished piece. 

 

Frantic Assembly

Frantic Assembly are an award winning theatre company, who have toured extensively across Great Britain and worked in 40 countries internationally collaborating with some of today’s most inspiring artists.

 

Known for their physical and collaborative approach to devising, the company is committed to empowering and inspiring people to participate, educate, collaborate and make thrilling work. Working with over 10,000 young people, artists and teachers a year; their participants benefit from building skills, confidence, bravery and creativity.

Setting Description:
This course is taught on our parkland campus in specialist rehearsal and performance spaces and theatres.
Cost:
850 GBP. This course runs from Monday 17th to Saturday 22nd July 2017. Classes take place 9.00 to 5.00 each day and all teaching will be led by Frantic Assembly practitioners. Fee includes all classes and training, meal plans and wifi access. On campus housing available for an additional fee.

Requirements:
Applications are welcome from those aged 18+. Candidates should actively enjoy all aspects of practical drama work and be motivated, enthusiastic and prepared to work physically and collaboratively.
