I just completed my second week of classes at the University of Melbourne. To my surprise, the workload for all my classes are not as much as my college in the states. I don't have class on Mondays or Wednesdays, so I sometimes feel like I don't go to school. My Australian Art and Contemporary Arts is one lecture and a tutorial once my week.
Welcome Week overall was very enjoyable! After everyone arrived and signed in on Friday, we broke into host groups and went on a City Scavenger Hunt. The hunt was hilarious because they asked us to complete outrageous things such as proposing to a random person from the street and jumping into a random person's vehicle and then exiting.
As Spring quickly approaches, Paris is starting to feel more alive. If the sun is up and shining, people are everywhere! Children, students, businesspeople, and tourists alike jump at the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air whenever possible. After experiencing two months of rain and wind, I notice that I am much more appreciative of plesant days because I can continue to explore downtown and everything it has to offer.
