- The program is a dynamic laboratory for the advanced exploration of industrial design. Students and faculty are actively investigating how to design for new social conditions in which behavioral, material, technological, and natural landscapes are shifting. Post-industrial design looks critically at the social weight of design; it also looks opportunistically at new cultural and economic conditions to suggest future directions for design practice.
