Program Description:
The Master of Science in Management (MSc) Supply Chain Management (SCM) is ideally suited for students interested in careers requiring in-depth understanding of supply chains. Careers in supply chain management involve using rigorous analytical and decision making skills and techniques to help organizations design and coordinate the flow of goods and information through supply chains. The range of exciting and rewarding career opportunities open to graduates covers job functions such as senior supply chain analyst, supply chain consultant, supply chain systems designer, demand/supply planner, supply chain coordinator, transportation systems analyst, strategic procurement specialist, and supply chain technology analyst. The program benefits from the expertise of one of the largest group of professors in supply chain management in Canada and from its association with the SBE's Centre for Supply Chain Management. Student complete a three-term (one-year) program of study covering seven (7) required courses, two (2) elective courses, and a Major Research Paper. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Master of Science in Management degree (MSc) program with a concentration in Organizational Behaviour (OB) and Human Resource Management (HRM) is primarily targeted at students who want to pursue a doctoral (PhD) degree with the ultimate goal of a career in either academics or industry. The research-based program provides students with a firm grounding in research methods, design, and quantitative analysis, as well as introducing students to theory and research in the broad areas of OB and HRM. In preparation for the major research paper, which serves as the capstone of the program, the MSc candidate will complete courses and seminars in research methods and statistics, in addition to content-based courses in OB and HRM. The program is twelve (12) months, completed over three (3) terms beginning each Fall term.

Requirements:
The SCM program is exclusively for students who clearly demonstrate potential to complete the coursework and the major research paper requirements. The normal criteria for assessing this potential are (a) a four-year honours undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in science, engineering, mathematics, business, or economics with a minimum B+ average and (b) a Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) score of at least 650. Graduate Records Examinations (GRE) scores may be accepted in lieu of GMAT scores. To be admitted to the OB/HRM program, a student should have an honours degree or equivalent in business, or other fields relating to OB/HRM such as Psychology or Sociology. To be considered for admission, a student applicant must have at least a B+ GPA over the last two years of courses and a GMAT score of at least 650 (or a GRE composite score of at least 1100 across the verbal and quantitative test components).
International Requirements:
Applicants whose language of instruction during the undergraduate degree was other than English must furnish evidence of proficiency in English prior to admission. Normally, this evidence is an acceptable score on one of the following: TOEFL, IELTS, CAEL Assessment.
