Program Overview

Program Description:
We are living in the age of disruption, hyper competition and non-stop dislocation in which leadership in innovation is of the greatest importance. In this business environment, participation in a master’s level program has to be more than an opportunity to gain or improve a particular skill set. From here a Canadian first was created – Laurier’s Executive Masters in Technology Management. We have recognized that many top level executives with technical backgrounds have grown into business leadership positions without the tools in their kits to be a great leader. We developed our EMTM education experience to focus on preparing participants to harness their ingenuity and drive, in order to reshape their organizations and create a more dynamic, enriching tomorrow. With our program residing in the hotbed of innovation in Canada, the Laurier EMTM combines modern management practices, as well as insights on emerging technologies that are driving global innovation and change. Laurier’s EMTM will specifically address the overlapping disciplines of business and technology. It will emphasize high-level executive training and is designed to prepare leaders to manage both technology and the process of innovation in a high-speed, high-cost, high-risk global environment. The Laurier EMTM program is designed for accomplished executives and senior managers in innovation-driven companies with several years of experience. Business unit leaders, directors, general managers with profit and loss responsibility, senior managers moving into C-suite leadership roles will benefit from this stimulating and dynamic learning experience.
