Program Description:
The Master of Arts degree program is accredited by the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE) and provides a strong theoretical and clinical foundation in the practice of disability and personal adjustment counseling, career counseling, psychosocial and vocational assessment, job development and placement, supported employment, and community inclusion for persons with disabilities. WSU Rehabilitation Counseling Program is a 60 credit program and offers specialized training in the areas of trauma, psychiatric disabilities, dual diagnosis disorders, as well as therapeutic interventions in the areas of hope and positive psychology, motivational interviewing and narrative therapy.
