Program Description:

If you have your MDiv or equivalent, and are looking to enhance your counselling abilities or to pursue specialized ministry, this program can provide the answer. It could lead you to further academic studies, clinical education leading to professional certification or to specialized ministry in counselling centres, hospitals, schools or the church. The program focuses on Marriage and Family Studies and can be applied to the area of Pastoral Care and Counselling. You will study research methodology, theory and method in various models of pastoral care and counselling. You may also choose to complete an optional Field Study in your area of concentration with a Supervised Pastoral Education or a unit at a CAPPE accredited Training Centre or with AAMFT approved supervision
