Are you more interested in the application of technology than technology for its own sake? Do you believe it’s important not to lose sight of the role people and cultures play with regard to information? Are you fascinated by knowledge, innovation and creativity? If so, then the Master’s programme in Information Science is an excellent choice for you. The Master's specialization in Business Informatics trains you to become an information scientist, with the skills to develop innovative ICT applications for organizations. The Master's specialization in Multimedia & Culture focuses on the cultural and ethical aspects of ICT applications.As an information scientist, you will be in a favourable position on the job market: nowadays every company has to cope with the growing influence of computers throughout society and the opportunities offered by internet and e-commerce. You can aim for a career in consultancy or in the IT or e-commerce department of a larger organization. As a business informatics specialist, you can become an analyst or IT architect.
