Program Overview

Program Description:
The master's programme in Environment and Resource Management is all about dealing with environmental change and resource depletion. In this context we regard environmental problems as societal problems. There is a growing need for environmental experts with an interest in several disciplines and sectors, to address not only global issues like climate change and the decline in biodiversity, but local risk issues as well.

The Education Inspection Committee is optimistic about the career prospects for environmental scientists with a professional and interdisciplinary training. The Master?s programme will hone your skills in a number of areas which potential employers consider important. These include ability to cooperate, to solve problems structurally, to write and present effectively in Dutch and English, to manage projects and to demonstrate sensitivity to policy.
