- The MSc in Social Research provides advanced training in the range of research methods used in the social sciences. Core modules develop practical research skills, methodological expertise, familiarity with examples of good practice in contemporary research and knowledge of theoretical issues relevant across the spectrum of social science disciplines. Elective modules and a dissertation provide for specialisation in Anthropology, Applied Social Sciences, Development Studies, Human Geography, Politics or Sociology.
