The programme is semesterised and offered on a block release basis with periods of clinical practice following and relating to blocks of academic study. This approach is designed to develop students' academic understanding and build upon their clinical and management skills in providing a diagnostic service. Clinical practice units provide experience in a wide range of ultrasound examinations.
