Program Overview

Program Description:

 The 12 month MA in Planning and Development offers students from a wide range of backgrounds the opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge relevant to a career in surveying. These capabilities will then be developed, synthesised and applied through a major project and additional option modules. This project involves inter-disciplinary work both planning students and property students following the MA in Commercial Property route. An individually supervised dissertation completes the year.

Accreditation:
The course is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) of which graduates will be eligible for membership once the necessary practice requirements have been met. We are pleased to offer the Sheffield Scholarship 2016 to all US students commencing a Taught Masters programme in September 2016. The scholarships are: • £2,000 if your tuition fees are between £14,500 and £16,500 • £2,500 for each student paying fees of £16,501 and upwards We also offer scholarships of 50% of the course fee which will be offered on the basis of academic merit.

IELTS 7.0 with minimum 6 in each component, or TOEFL score of at least 100 in the internet-based test, 600 with at least 5 in TWE, or 250 in the computer-based test.
