- The UMDNJ Physician Assistant Program, jointly sponsored by Rutgers University, confers a Master of Science degree upon completion of three years of didactic and practical education. It is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). There are two routes of entry into this program. First, students may be admitted directly in the professional program after earning a baccalaureate degree and completing the required prerequisite courses. Second, students may be admitted into the joint BA/MS degree program.
