Program Overview

Program Description:

In June and July 2019, the Mannheim School of Humanities will offer its International Summer School for the seventh time. Between 12 June and 6 July, students can take up to two courses and earn up to 12 ECTS during their summer break.
All courses will be taught by internationally renowned guest professors who are invited to this summer school from Mannheim and abroad.
This programme is designed for undergraduate students studying at the School of Humanities or at its partner universities, which are located all over the world. It offers students the opportunity to engage in thought-provoking seminars taught by well-known international experts while spending a fun and exciting summer in the heart of Europe.
For international students, it presents an alternative to studying abroad for an entire semester. Students can either stay for just one month or they can attend this summer school programme before or after their semester abroad in Mannheim. Thus, students can take advantage of this opportunity to get to know the University of Mannheim, its academic principles, its students, and its culture as well as the city of Mannheim and the country of Germany.

Cost:
250 EUR. The registration fee includes a Welcome Reception, a welcome package, two excursions, a Farewell BBQ, evening activities, transcript of records and certificate, as well as individual support in finding accomodation.
